Why We Help

One of TriLinc’s core beliefs is that the key to a thriving economy rests with growing and sustainable small businesses. These businesses are vital employers in small towns across America and many are self-employed, which is their only source of income for their family. The COVID-19 Virus has struck a devastating blow with catastrophic consequences to those very businesses and they need help.

How You Can Help

A new survey from the National Federation of Independent Businesses Research Center reports that 92% of small business employers are negatively impacted by the coronavirus, an escalation from 76% just days earlier.5 With continued uncertainty around “re-opening” many of these businesses are in danger of closing permanently. Above, we have provided links to small businesses in towns from across the United States which could benefit from your patronage.

In addition to supporting the small businesses listed on this site, here are immediate ways you can help:
  • Buy a gift card for a friend or relative and encourage them to buy for someone else
  • Order takeout to support your local restaurants
  • Consider doing your holiday shopping online now
  • Purchase a DIY kit or virtual consultation from your favorite hair salon
  • Post a positive social media “shout out” to your favorite local business
  • Need soap? Visit a local artisan site instead of buying a national brand
  • Support niche groceries in your community
  • Support independent bookstores by purchasing online
  • Donate your expertise with a free consultation

Be encouraging, positive, and inspiring - it is the American way!
