Change for the World started as a jar where team members would deposit their loose change and donate it annually to a charity of the team’s choice. In 2012, we added $5 Fridays, where team members can dress casually on Fridays by contributing $5 to the Change for the World jar.

In 2018, the TriLinc team donated $2,260 to the Show Hope Foundation, which was matched by the organization. Show Hope is a non-profit that helps fund adoption aid grants for families.

For 2019, the team has voted to donate to FOREFRONT, an organization which seeks to enable every person, equip leaders, and establish self-sustaining communities via a four pillar approach: water/sanitation, education, medical, and empowerment.

Each year, TriLinc team members personally buy backpacks and back-to-school supplies to bring to our “back-to-school day.”  Then, as a team, we take our lunch hour to fill the backpacks and through a local organization, donate them to underprivileged children in neighboring communities.

Every year, and for the past several years, TriLinc has participated in Journey of Faith’s annual Thanksgiving food drive.  In early November, each of our team members personally buys quantities of food items to pack Thanksgiving Day Boxes that are then distributed to local families in need.

Each year in February, TriLinc’s team members and our families participate in an evening of hand-packing meals specifically formulated for malnourished children in low income countries.  Through donations and with the help of volunteers, Feed My Starving Children provides nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children globally.  

At every team meeting, the meeting ends with a call for anyone to share about local fundraisers they are involved with. Recent participation has including assistance for victims of the local fires and mudslides, participation in the Sketchers Friendship Walk, fundraising support for Movember and Soroptimist International, and many more.
