2012 Ghana Youth Awards to be launched tomorrow

As part of activities marking this year’s International Youth Day celebration, Africa Youth Network (AYONET), 54 kingdoms LLC, and Stages Multimedia in collaboration with other stakeholders under the royal Patronage of Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhene of Esikado is launching the 2012 Ghana Youth Awards, which aims to celebrate organisations and individuals that promote and contribute to positive youth development in Ghana.

The launching will take place at the Kama Conference Centre on August 15th 2012 from 9:30am to 1:30pm in addition to a Youth Enterprise Development & Economic Empowerment Forum for young entrepreneurs and business leaders on the theme: Innovative Funding Mechanisms to Support Youth Entrepreneurs.

In this session, participants will learn about various investment models that provide both financial and social returns.

Keynote speakers and presenters will discuss key areas currently attracting impact investment in addition to their experiences with youth enterprise investment readiness and new models in business or venture planning.

This forum is open to participants who are interested in bridging the finance gap that many youth entrepreneurs experience.
